You can find the uninstall instructions from Microsoft Office Support website: Uninstall Office 2011 from a Mac. If you are already using Microsoft Office 2011 for Mac, please uninstall it first before installing Microsoft Office 2016 for Mac. The box version of Office 2016 for Mac will only be available in September 2015.
